Terrance Brashun is a native of Dallas (Oak Cliff), Texas. His love for writing began in 4th grade when he was placed in the T.A.G. (Talented And Gifted) Program. It was then that he was first introduced to the coffee-can book and his amusement grew from there. Throughout middle school and high school, Terrance wrote a number of poems, short stories, and books. Some of the poems were published in an online community called Elfwood. However, his books never reached completion. Determined to be able to call himself an author, Terrance kept writing. Eventually, in 2011, he took a number of his poems and made them 2 different collections of ebooks - Young Love and The Ups And Downs Of Falling In Love. Soon after, in 2013, he discovered that he could self publish his own books in a paperback form so he removed both books from all publications they were on. By this time, he had begun penning a collection of short stories but the subject matter they touched on bothered the woman he was dating at the time. Not wanting to bring friction to the relationship, he stopped writing that book and put it on the backburner. By this time, he was very much inspired to stay writing and penned what would become his very first paperback book - a collection of poems entitled Scorpio Love. Dedicated to his girlfriend, the poems in Scorpio Love reflected his admiration for the woman he was with. When the relationship started to falter he penned the follow-up collection More Scorpio Love, noting the journey that he was on emotionally. After the relationship ended, he picked back up on writing the book that bothered her and published it as his first collection of short stories entitled Milestones. The feedback from Milestones was very promising and he quickly followed it up with another collection of short stories called Jody: Confessions of The Other Man. When the relations for Jody weren't as welcoming as he'd hoped, Terrance went back to doing poetry. Fully bitten by the writing bug once again, Terrance has now written 4 more poetry collections as well as making Young Love and The Ups And Downs Of Falling In Love paperback books. He is currently in the process of writing his first novel.
